Service Description
The MBSR (Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction) program for adolescents is carefully customised to meet the unique needs of each individual. The number of sessions is tailored to their specific goals. Sessions focus on key themes, including improving focus and concentration, engaging with the senses (taste, smell, sound, sight, and touch), building patience and self-confidence, managing emotions effectively, and cultivating kindness, empathy, and positivity. Additionally, the program provides tools to manage exam stress and develop the art of active listening, equipping adolescents with essential skills for both academic and personal growth. Through personalised guidance and practical exercises, participants explore mindfulness techniques that can be seamlessly integrated into their daily lives. The program offers numerous benefits, such as enhanced concentration, reduced overthinking and negative thoughts, improved relaxation, better sleep, and decreased anxiety and depression. Adolescents also build stronger self-confidence, foster greater self-respect, and learn to respond calmly to stress and challenging situations. Each session is adapted to the individual’s pace and preferences, lasting between 1 hour and 1 hour and 15 minutes.
